Vision
The College of Education declares its vision geared towards the development of a new breed of teachers empowered with tools of scientific and practical knowledge in teaching for academic excellence, responsive educational leadership, research and community service founded on Christian virtues for God, country na d fellowmen.
Mission
The principal task is for the College of Education is to translate its sound vision into relevant, creative and outcome-based educational programs as it strengthens national identity, cultural heritage and achievements towards global competitiveness.
Objectives:
- Develop prospective teachers as positive change-agents in upholding holistic human development;
- Design and implement a curriculum to accomplish standards of excellence in the learners' knowledge, attitudes, values and skills;
- Provide quality instruction replective of learner-centered teaching methodologies, innovative instructional design, assessment and evaluation; and,
- Form Christian community builders deeply rooted in their national haritage, faith and appreciative of the dignity of the individual.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
A. HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES
High School graduates who have not enrolled in any collegiate course seeking admission to the University must present their Form 138 or its equivalent (e.g. PEPT certificate) to the Registrar’s Office for checking and verification. The Registrar’s Office will provide the student an application form to fill up after the verification of the entrance credentials. He/She must pass the Entrance Examination administered by the Guidance Office. The entrance examination result should be presented to Registrar’s Office as a credential for admission
B. TRANSFEREES
Transfer students from other colleges and universities seeking admission to the University must present their transfer credentials and scholastic records from the school previously attended to the Registrar’s Office for checking and verification. No transfer student will be accepted unless he/she has passed 75% of the subject load during the previous semester.
C. FOREIGN STUDENTS
Students coming from foreign schools seeking admission to the University are admitted after their credits and eligibility have been determined and certified by the Commission on Higher Education. They should also present their Alien certificate of Registration and Immigration, Certificate of Residence issued and duly signed by the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation. Only original copies of these documents are accepted.
NOTE: A student is officially registered only after he has complied with all the requirements for registration and has paid in full, or has made arrangements to pay on the installment plan, the tuition and other fees for the semester
